Disappointed to find 'Flog It' on yesterday. Has Eggheads' series ended? Or is it a brief mid-series hiatus?

Actually, I don't want the Eggheads to loose - otherwise their image would fall. They are meant to be unbeatable.

They can't just gie the answer can they? No that's too easy, they have to show off wi all the extra info about why it can't be Answer a because blah blah blah. And that Daphne does ma head in when she says what all she's won and emphasises she's won fifteen-to-one TWICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I may have mentioned this before, but there are a few things about the Eggheads programme which irritate me:-

1. The Eggheads shouldn't be given options to ANY of the questions.

2. Dermot is much too patronising.

3. Far too many of the Eggheads' questions are too simple - now I realise that this is always subjective and an easy question to some may be difficult for others, but for people of their ability this shouldn't arise.

4. There should be a maximum number of programmes in which the money may be won before returning to �1000.

5. The questions seem to be set in the Eggheads favour when the challengers go 2nd.

I think Kevin Ashman is the most modest of the 5. He is far and away the cleverest of the Eggheads and doesn't go out of his to way emphasise this.

@Osprey - if the Egghaed weren't given option then it wouldn't be a fair comp to see if the challengers can beath the eggheads. And what would they do when it gets to the sudden death round? Eggheads would be no worse off but the challengers would be??

Completely agree with you Osprey about Kevin. I would certainly have him on my Team any day!
