Facebook Friend Requests..

Ok, been using FB since it began, and regularly, so not much baffles me.... However, just want to ask anyone here if they can help with this one?
I see a a friend request to a friend from a few years back, 12 months later, she replies to me saying she's only just read it /noticed it etc etc. I've not changed much. Blah blah
The prob is... I was on way out and didn't get chance to read it properly. And now, I can't find the damn message!! (Using iPhone 6 btw)
I've been into Friend requests/messages/FB messanger. Old requests
All this in great depth! I've even checked my friend list to see if she's now on it?? Nothing?
No point me messaging FB cos takes forever for them to respond!!
I'm not particularly bothered. Just wanted to read message and respond? And now I can't seem to?

she could have deleted it herself or you could find her on facebook and message her saying that the message has disappeared....however I wonder if she has decided that the friendship is over and changed her mind about being in contact .. a year is a long time to not notice a friend request.... just saying!!

Yes, well, I searched some more and found her reply in 'Group' requests
So... All good now

I will admit to avoiding people because it is, as you say, much of a muchness....once people realise I do not have children and therefore no grandchildren and have no real interest in theirs that tends to be it!!!! I too have too much time on my hands...am thinking of getting a penpal!!!

Actually not ..... helped some fabulous young people achieve lots in spite of appalling home circumstances and abuse....there are, tho', some I still worry about! Teachers can't do it all but they can make a significant difference to some people...in a good way!! Oh blimey...so deep for a Monday morning.... I did set the toaster on fire this morning...that was fun!!

I was lucky...I was a pastoral head for years so was in a very priiviledged position regarding the children we worked with and of course the fantastic people I worked with...things have changed dramatically over the years to make things harder for teachers in loads of ways...anyway what about you? Do tell!!!

So what are the names of your layers? Just a few of them. I think most people are multi layered..that is what makes us and life all the more interesting. Florence Nightingale? Seem to remember she wasn't desperately pleasant so be grateful your mum saw your good qualities....Actually could never deal with bits of peoples bodies...yuck!!Huge admiration for those that can...and anyone technologically savvy..oh and loads of other talents!!
