Hi A/bs has anyone had experience with microwave cooker combi ,what can you cook in the oven is worth the expense over the microwave on it's own. Thank you and good evening.
I love mine which has got a grill and oven as well as microwave facility. The combination grill with microwave setting cooks things like chips really quickly and browns, and the oven is just the same as a small fan oven. I live alone and its a boon for saving electricity, also was wonderful in the recent hot spell when using the big oven would have made me melt.
Cooker stopped working and blew the circuit board, changed fuse in plug, nothing happened. Contacted Panasonic and they gave me details of a TV repair man. One lost customer.
I have a Russell Hobbs one & wouldn't be without it. The oven cooks like a conventional one but uses considerably less power as it is smaller. The grill is a bit hit & miss to be honest & I haven't tried the combi settings where it uses part microwave/oven. I previously had a Panasonic which was also very good. The only thing I would say is don't get a Daewoo. I had one which was faulty when brand new & had it replaced. The second one was also faulty, not heating the oven to the correct temperature. I then got the RH one & it is brilliant & well worth the money
