Eek!! Please Help Me

I got locked out of lappy for 45mins just now by bloke with American accent saying my computer has been blocked by viruses which could get all my passwords etc and steal my money!
I know it's a scam, but can't get rid of his voice....have had to mute him :(

Power off and back on again. If it reappears your browser may have opened the same pop-up window again. Try not to let it open it. Perform a full virus scan afterwards but I suspect nothing will be found; but better safe than sorry.

Hiya TWR, yep I'm not so bad thanks,...apart from Chemo-brain, which is a thing actually, thought I was gonna get an ailment named after me ;)
Yeah, I did reboot, and that unlocked it for me, but I still know he's there, lurkin' :(

My friend has the same Issue Baths, I will always be there for her, with approval from my OH, I have known this person for 35years+ also her ex, they know what I'm like. Take care.xx

I should have added as you may already know, these scammers try & try their best to get through, it's up to the person that uses the Lap not to be enticed.

Not as yet Baths, I have just been up to see her, she knows me, how I address the issue, I am positive with her, if she asks me, I will tell her straight & that's the way she like it.

Sounds good TWR, I appreciate straight talk.When I saw oncologist last week I had written down a long list of questions I had for him, and he was delighted and said he wished more patients were like that, instead of just nodding when he tried to explain their treatment. Can't understand that attitude, but as long as folk whisper about"The Big C," I can't see things changing unfortunately :(

My Dad's undergoing chemo at the moment Baths, hasn't had the hair loss but no energy at all, 30 pace walk and he is stuffed.

Stick with it, hope for a good outcome.
