I'm referring to the Actor in Corrie that's been sacked? have you been Racially or verbally attacked? have you been in a position that a black person has called you a Bas or another name, incidentally I have, are you afraid to say what you think?

No, why should you be afraid to speak your mind, what's different from being racist is understanding a bit of diplomacy and assessing what you can and can't say in a specific audience.
This site is as bad as anywere where else. I've read some nasty stuff when referring to Scots or to the Welsh or to the English, the phrase sweaty sock is offensive to some as is the phrase southern softy or southern shandy drinkers; diplomacy seems to play no part in some dicsussions on here!

As a child of an Irishman growing up in the 70s I was regularly attacked for my nationality. It wasn't pleasant.
People like you or your children were the perpetrators and no, I have never been afraid to say what I think. I called them racists and moved on.
