I am definitely wiser, and for some reason in the past few years, I have studied to gain/learn more about life etc.

I now watch a lot of documentary's, how things are built/made, inventions from the past, and drive my kids mad, telling them something new every other day!

Yesterday, I told my daughter that the the person who invented the toothbrush, thought of it whilst he was in prison, and used a piece of bone with horsehair to brush his teeth.

When he was released, he made & sold them making a fortune, his name was Addis! :-)

The older you are the more time you have had to accumulate knowledge.IMO

I think I have gained knowledge and wisdom as I have aged. But I am also aware of gradual deterioration in the day to day stuff that I'm continually having to excuse by calling them 'senior moments'. It's a weird dichotomy. And one (well the latter part anyway) that it is extremely difficult to simply just accept.
