Tonight's Louis Theroux prog as strange as its subject, Jimmy Savile. Of course I don't condone what Savile is alleged to have done, but that's all there have been...allegations. He never stood trial for anything in his lifetime, and nothing in this programme proved anything either. What do you think?

// If Savile was abusing as many people as is claimed I'm surprised he had any time available to eat, shave, get dressed, etc.//

about 50% ( of allegations ) dont get up and run

'I felt his filthy hands all over me. Tuesday it was - 11th July 1969 Clitheroe Stonker - I can recall every filthy second...my flesh still crawls when I think of it.Pervert.'

you cant blame them - there is money to be made
9/11 it was the same. One lawyer even embezzled compensation money ( " the stoopidest thing I ever did."
It was inevitable that last night's programme would revolve around Savile - however it was unashamedly about Louis trying to confront and/or assuage any guilt he may have acquired the first time round.

Some of those he interviewed for a second time felt he couldn't have done more at the time others pointed out he had been duped by a clever twisted man.

As one young lady beautifully put it 'You were mentally abused, you were mugged off Louis'.
I suppose that is how con men do it:
they con people - and other people like me cant do and have to give up quig

I bet a lot of media people would like a second bite at the cherry and say 'ah yeah I didnt really mean that...'

I mean ( blush blush ) I voted for Tony Blair in 1997 - Major was a bit icky with corruption - and jesus you look back on it and think ....
and yeah I agreed with iraqi intervention
and no I didnt believe that there would be no Plan A for post invasion Iraq
and no I didnt expect him to amass a £50m private fortune on the back of it
I mean how gullible is that - again and again ...
True Peter, some have manipulation down to such a fine art they can convince others they are imagining any wrongdoings.
