10 Answers
Hello, I wonder if anybody can help. I have just bought a 2nd hand Fujifilm Finepix Camera model 2200 and the memory card which was by Fujifilm has just finished. My question is. What type of memory card can I buy for this camera on ebay please? How many GB? Thanks in advance.

Amazon's website states that the camera uses an SSFDC card

with Wikipedia stating that SSFDC was renamed to SmartMedia (which is what you'll need to search for)

Wikipedia also states that they're no longer manufactured. There are still some listed on both Amazon and eBay though, with the maximum size available being just 128Mb.

The other posts weren't there when I started my own. I have to disagree with them as the Finepix 2200 camera (from 2001) seems to pre-date the use of SD cards in Fuji cameras. (Mass_Hysteria's link seems to refer to an SD card which unfortunately happens to have the same number as the earlier camera).
Crossed posts again!
OK, Eddie. Fair enough. I trusted Amazon's description of the camera but this one seems to suggest otherwise:

If so, an SD card should be fine but I'd caution against buying anything bigger than 32Gb as some cameras won't accept 64 or 128Mb cards.
