Moving
Last week I exchanged contracts on my house and we are due to move in 5 weeks time. Blow me down, just as I was getting in the shower last night the bloody glass screen collapsed on me. Does anyone know what my legal obligations are now, do I have to replace the glass screen or can I put up a shower rail and curtain.

I would contact the buyer and explain the situation. They may will intend to rip out your bathroom and replace with new, in which case it would be pointless to replace with anything but a curtain.
I'm sure they will be understanding. The last thing you need after the move is disgruntled buyers.
He is a very disgruntled buyer anyway as I told him I wasn't prepared for him to get tenants for his flat before we exchanged contracts. He was a major pain in the jacksee from day one. But thanks for advice, I've checked list and it doesn't ask anything about shower screen only curtain, which I said I don't have.
Hi rocky,
I would take it down, fill the screw holes in and dispose of screen, did i say screen? what screen, sorry mate, don't know what your talking about.
I would only do this cos you say he's a right old git anyway,so stuff him, I am sure if he had been nice you would have replaced it,the same as I would have.
