La Palma Canary Islands
Hello. Im thinking of going to La Palma in Canary Islands next July. I know its the smaller of the Canaries and lesser known but has anyone been? The hotel we are looking at is in Los Cancajos. My husband gets a bit bored lying on the beach or by the pool and does like to go off for a wander. We both like to go out for dinner in the evening and some drinks and also have a bit a walk round. I know it will be pretty quiet - which is what we want. Does anyone have any experience of the island or in particular Los Cancajos?

We planned to go about three years ago, and didn't for that reason, but maybe things are different now?

The only direct flights from the UK to La Palma are with easyJet (from Gatwick, Tuesdays and Saturdays) and Thomson (Thursdays from both Gatwick and Manchester).
