Given that you're using a hotel's computer, I assume that you're using a web-based system (rather than a dedicated email client or app).
It appears that the web browser on the computer isn't compatible with the way that the relevant website works. So the obvious question has to be: "Is there an alternative web browser available on the computer?"
e.g. if the computer uses Opera by default (as I've encountered on a hotel computer myself) is Internet Explorer also available? (Or, better still, Firefox or Chrome?)
If there is a choice of browsers available, switch to another one and the problem should disappear.
