Hi, for the last 4 days I've been getting texts saying 'Orange SIM Update' presumably from Orange.

Am I supposed to reply to these or something to stop it?

TIA

I believe the act of opening the message makes it do what it's supposed to. So you just open them, then delete them.

They keep coming until whatever it is they're trying to do gets done.

If that isn't so, then either you're getting lots of different ones, or there's a problem - ask the Orange helpline about it.

Thanks Catso, its a PAYG mobile I use for family and friends, didnt know if it was because I dont use it to make calls, just receive them on it and call people on my contract phone. Its always got credit on it though.
I seem to remember reading something about having to make or receive a certain number of calls to keep it active though so didnt know if it was something to do with that?!
Possibly, but the more usual cause/reason for these messages is Orange sending a 'software update' to yuor phone. Something to enable or disable features.
