on a calendar, is the full moon represented by the little black circle or the little white one? i get confused

It is what is inside the circle that simulates the appearance of the moon.

Or to put it another way, a white circle is full moon, a black circle is new moon.
that depends on the calendar, i am a pagan and the clear white symbol represents a full moon and the blacked out symbol mean dark moon, and you can have spring or imbolic dark moons. if you want to know more on pagan moon's follow link below:http://www.moonwise.co.uk/year/2005paganldon.h tm

thanks fleckboy - thats actually why i was asking, i'm a witch :)
I guess the best way of finding out is to go outside, look at the moon, and compare it to the calendar!
