I wonder if someone can help please.

I'm trying to upload pictures from a card reader to eBay and keep getting the following error message:

"F:\DCIM\109_FUJI is unavailable. If the location is on this PC, make sure the device or drive is connected or the disc is inserted, and then try again. If the location is on a network, make sure you're connected to the network or internet, and then try again. If the location still can't be found, it might have been moved or deleted."

I have a laptop computer and Windows 10.

Thanks for any advice.

It sounds like the card is not being recognised in the card reader. What type of card is it? If it's an SD card is the safety tab in the "read-only" position? (It shouldn't matter, but it does on my system). Do you have another card you can try it with? Try connecting the camera directly to your computer, rather than removing the card from the camera and using a card reader.
You might try copying the pictures from the card to your local drive and uploading from there.

It's an SD card and the safety tab is not activated. I've tried with another card but get the same message, it won't read either of them.

I can't copy the pictures from the card to the local drive as it won't read the card and I can't connect the camera directly to the computer as I don't have a connection wire to do so. :o(

OH thinks it might be the card reader within the computer that has gone faulty.

Thanks bhg and TheChair for replies.
