sealing a bath when the floor tlxes with Teleseal 10
3 Answers
I have recently had a new bath fitted but have a problem with the seal between the wall tiles and the bath. The fitter has redone the mastik seal three times but every time it comes away from the bath which is not fixed to the wall because it is made from steel. We think this keeps happening because the wooden floor flexes by up to 5 mm even though underneath the bath has been reinforced with 12mm board. We have seen a product on the market called Teleseal 10 which is designed to overcome this problem. It is a upvc strip which flexes up to 10 mm when the bath is in use. Can anyone recommend this product before we use it or suggest an alternative? Thanks.
