Msn Sounds
6 Answers
Hello,
Recently I was trying to install a new version of msn onto my laptop. Once I installed the new msn version I didn't like it so I uninstalled it and went back to my normal version but when I had restored it all, I had lost my msn sound! I no longer get a little sound when someone signs in or when someone messages me or even when I get an email. I have checked all the sound settings and they seem find but I don't know if maybe I am missing something.
Has anyone ever had this problem before or do they know how to fix it?
Many thanks.

Maybe you options to play a sound got unchecked. when you changed versions.

i can say, yes its happened to me too, after i uploaded windows live package i didnt like it much at all, and took off the messenger side of it. i reloaded the old 7.5 which will soon be exstinct soon and got no soon. after many letter to tech help i was told the windows live messenger changes certain programs within your pc when u change, to go back to an old version is ok but your sound may be affected. i have just got used to it now and no sound at that bad. my voice conversations still work, its just all the sound when u sign in and out has gone.
