sigh!!

How do you decide what is the share of immigrants in your eyes, 20% 50% ?
We seem to have quite a few Polish people in my little local town. Most of them seem to wash cars - and a very good job they do too.
On the other hand, London, the city of my birth, is a different world to the one I grew up in.

Islay, you have no need to answer my post, just keep looking at answers if any, then knock that chip off your shoulder and put in ( If you want) a comment.

I don't know what the 'share' is but my home town has always been very diverse and I'm sure new people move in all the time.
Lol I don't think i'm the one with a chip on my shoulder.

Your questions are so vague, how do you define what is a 'fare share'?
But in order to answer your badly phrased question.

Our hamlet has 34 houses and immigrants live in 7 of them, does that count as a fare share?

I think you will find it's fair.
Do you mean people that came here legally?

At work we have a few migrants that entered legally. One used to be in the Afghan army. He's seen some truly horrific things. He loves it here.

We also employ a few Polish but in reality if someone is white I wouldn't know where they are from unless I heard them speak.

Around 20% of the houses where I live seem have very large families (often 3 generations) and most seem to be of Pakistani origin. I have never asked them whether they are immigrants or whether they were born here. I also work with pupils who could be immigrants but again I haven't checked further. There have been some Syrians joining local schools recently an i know they are immigrants because they came via a local 'orientation' centre- all so far seem very polite and willing to learn and so stand out as unusual in some schools

Others have asked this, how do you define share?
