Are these all universal or do I need to get genuine parts my shower is a iflo

I think there are a couple of size (screw diameters) so you can't go too far wrong. Take your old one with you when you visit the DIY shed.

A good idea from OG but perhaps a better idea is to take the tube with you and check that it fits the new head properly.

Most showers will accept 'universal' parts, such as this:

However given that Travis Perkins (with over 700 branches in the UK) stocks genuine Iflo spares (and they're actually cheaper than many 'universal' models) it would seem simplest to buy what you know will definitely fit. e.g.
