One can only imagine what pitfalls have been put in their way, but fortunately they have bravely overcome them, to become Man & Wife.

Good luck to them and I hope they enjoy many happy years of marriage together.

Many Congratulations to them both.
Seconded - nice to have some positive news in a world of worry.
I hope that is a happy ending. I'm a cynic. My parents stayed married for 33 years which, to me, is two life sentences.

:-D
That's a shame wolf63.

I have been married for thirty years, and we were together for six years before that - but different things make different people happy.

Marriage - like life - is what you make it.
Sorry AH - I worded it badly. My mum died at the age of 58 (1996) and my dad 8 years later. He was a lost soul without my mum to boss him around.

Smashing story, I wish them a happy future :-)
wolf63 - Absolutely no need to apologise - I do understand that people have views based on their experiences.

You obviously mourn your dad who died far too early, I do not mourn mine who lived into his eighties, but without me anywhere near him.
Couldn't he have worn stilts ?
What a lovely story, I wish them all the best.

What happened to the consonants? It says the pair stood side by side during the vowels.
Atlanta - why would he do that?

His wife loves him as he is, I don't imagine he is going to start married life pretending to be something he isn't.
