I had it once, on a gash on my head, and I have to say it was rubbish! Within a day it had opened up again, so I reverted to a big sticky plaster.
Jokes aside, if it is a serious cut, don't just stick it together yourself. It needs a professional to have a look at it. If you seal it up with some dirt in it, you're going to get big trouble later.
