Gs Aural (Ear Hematoma)

My favorite part of my GS are her beautiful ears standing up. A few days ago she developed a blood ear hematoma. After consulting with vet I guess she will have surgery to drain it. Is it most likely one ear will be in a flop status. Is there any chance it could be normal after surgery. I am so sad.

I'm sorry I can't help about whether the ear will still stand up but my Labrador had an aural haematoma just before last Christmas, had it operated on and after a while it was back to normal. Good luck!
