Why does this channel only show programmes for two hours a day? I was setting recorder for programmes tonight when I realised I had too many for 9.00 pm. So I looked at itv+1. Discovered only show programmes for two hours I early hours. What a waste of a channel!

Seems it's getting very crowded with all these channels.

Thank you Mamya. I had discovered that too. Seems a complete waste of a channel really. Didn't help me any.

I also read thagt Wikipedia reference but it seems that it's out of date.

According to the official Freeview website, ITV4+1 no longer exists on the platorm:
https://www.freeview.co.uk/why-freeview/channels
(Click 'List View', just above the word 'All', to put the stations into channel order).

So it seems likely the service should already have been turned off on Freeview.

^^^ Almost certainly that's simply because nobody has bothered to switch off the signal until whichever station is due to occupy channel 62 in future is ready to do so.

ITV4+1 is still showing 24 hours a day on SKY Channel 206, or if you don't mind watching on your PC, you can use the ITV Catchup option.

But not on normal tv channels. How do you record it on PC?

ITV Catchup is supposedly an 'on demand' service, so that you can watch it when you want instead of recording it.

I don't know how far back you can go, but if it is similar to BBC, then programs are available for up to one month after broadcasting.
