I have been having real problems with internet security company MCAFEE - despite paying �60 a year to Mcafee, supposedly to protect my pc from viruses etc, I had to pay an additional �40 for trojan removal help, then another one appears and they charged another �20 to remove it - total to date �120 in just 6-7 months - I contacted their "customer services" who were unbelieveably bad and whose attitude was "tough" - does anyone on here have any suggestions for better companies?

And has anyone else any experience of them?

It makes me sad so many people may so much money for something that is essentially a failing of the operating system they bought in the first place.

that program is free, and works well. it's kept me virus free for over a year now, with no problems at all.

Get rid, do not buy anything similar by Norton/Symantec.

If running XP (legitimate copy) get defender from microsoft and antivirus from www.eset.com

That's all I use, none of this security suite rubbish.
