For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Have a look at : http://www.ecovolunteer.org.uk/ - choose a topic and review the opportunity; www.earthwatch.org same suggestion: BSAC have an eco tourism site: http://www.bsactravelclub.co.uk/eco/ecotourstable.htm for qualified divers: also see WWF, orangutan foundation, travel quest and the outreach international sites for some further info. Eco / conservation tours can be expensive - but very rewarding. You have to decide what you want to do . . .
Also suggest you speak to the consulate offices of any country you want to visit and ask for their volunteer or conservation programme recommendations for another starting point.
