Pour a glass of white wine over the red stain and then polish off the rest!!

Thanks for the tips, especially the suggestion to enjoy the next one providing it ends up in the correct place - don't have any white but have disrobed and soaked the offending article in every stain remover available. The remaining contents of the bottle will be treated with more respect.
Bazile - among my circle there is only one thing indicated by 'a glass of red' - happy motoring (tractoring?) :-)
