put it in a bright spot, no draughts and neither cold not hot, a nice room temp and treat it badly. I let mine dry out really dry then soak then let them dry out again. I feed about every third watering. They do really well and flower at least twice a year
See if this helps in reviving it, Daisy.

If it's got buds/flowers on it...DON'T MOVE IT! That will cause the buds to fall off.
Just chat to it, Daisy.....about anything....in fact you can treat them like a therapist......chat away and it'll be fine....x

symptoms .... sorry I thought you said ...............
I knew an elderly lady once who, when asked how she managed to get her C/C to grow and flower so well said, "Studied neglect, my dear", and it's true.
Forget about it and then you will soon see lots of tiny flower buds forming on the ends of the 'leaves'. They don't like fuss!
No fuss, once positioned never move while in bud, keep it dark and cool at night, so maybe behind the curtain. Mine is on north facing window behind the kichen blind. I've had it years and it does what it says on the tin, flowers at Christmas.
