Cooking chilli beef ... using the first of my homegrown chilli crop.

I've been quite cautious in the quantity used ... just one from each of the four different plants... but it does seem to be 'quite warm' when first tasted ... perhaps it will mellow down a bit as it cooks ... perhaps.

I suggest buying a pot of yoghurt and loo rolls in the fridge.

I'm having haggis with neeps and tatties.
Beef and barley broth.

Spag Bol, using my infamous rage recipe (apologies to Mr Carluccio)
I'd have the yoghurt and loo roll on standby too, Barmaid - for the haggis, neeps and tatties.

Not too bad in the end (pun intended) - the cooking mellowed the fire & some raita helped too.

We will now see what the morrow brings ...
I hope you have a comfortable night, Dave. Not too much turbulence. x
