1 Billion Accounts Hacked??

It just said on the news, Yahoo accounts, including names, birthdays, passwords and so on.

Given that it happened in 2013, anything nasty which could have come as a result of the attack has probably already happened.

Further, who the hell has a Yahoo account nowadays anyway? Apart from a few, sad BT users who actually used Yahoo email addresses (rather than getting themselves decent accounts elsewhere) I don't know of anyone who uses Yahoo these days.

You could connect yahoo account to phone number. It is much more safer.

i still use my yahoo account as my main email address - back in the day when i forst had an email address, it wasn't usual for people to have internet at home, so you had to use web based services. It was my first ever email adress, i was 21 at the time and it was nearly 22 years ago!
