I've pretty much ignored this story because ... well it could just be a story. So many different accounts of what happened.
If true I do hope the perpetrators are caught and face justice.
I would have thought in surveillance Britain there would be some CCTV available.
I'm a big fan of CCTV it makes it much easier to catch thugs like this.

sp1814 at 12:14, I’ not sure what you mean. You say that due to back surgery she couldn’t walk by herself and yet prior to the attack she was walking alone after visiting a friend. Furthermore, if people had come to her aid during the 20 minutes she claims to have lain on the floor, why was she found sitting alone at a table outside a restaurant and why was she obliged to call the police herself? As Divebuddy said at 14:01 “There don't seem (from the link) to be any witnesses to the actual attack”. The story doesn’t add up.
sp did not say " due to back surgery...". He was quoting the first article linked.
So far all the articles vary in their account. Two white youths aged 17-19 are mentioned...first as attackers in one account I read, and then as rescuers. I assume the stories vary according to the source, and how reporters interpret what they hear. It's like Chinese whispers.
