have they just changed the packets of this or is the stuffing different ? now it is in a yellow box and says 'for chicken' surely they know people use it for turkey or pork as well.
Most of the shops still have some of the blue original type packs but my Asda only has these yellow ones' I don't want to be lumbered with loads of the wrong stuff and be disappointed. Anyone know please ?

Premier Foods have simply changed their marketing strategy so that each of their Pax products is now aligned to a specific type of meat:

It's almost certainly the same product but, for a definitive answer, you can phone Premier Food's Customer Helpline on 0800 032 7111.

thanks for that Buenchico - have sent them an e mail and will phone them tomorrow.
Surely "chicken" is simply a "serving suggestion" ?
I love the statement in the link ''to drive value into the stuffing sector''
In plain English > to put up the prices and increase our profits.
foxhaven, just buy the supermarket own brand, 1/2 the price and o no one will know the difference.
. . . or, even better, forget the packet mixes and buy the 'proper' stuffing sold from the butcher's counter (or a nearby chiller) in Morrisons.
It's not too difficult to make your own.
^^^ but it cuts down on time for drinking those Christmas morning glasses of sherry, Boaty!
Essential sustenance Chris! ;o}
I make batches of stuffing with raw ingredients and plenty of fresh herbs, freeze it in various quantities and get out whatever sized lump is appropriate as and when.
