Feel So Stupid But Also So Lucky

Can't believe what I did last night.

I came out this morning to find my rear car door open after getting something out of it last night around 7pm.

Came out this morning about 9am and realized it must have been open all night from 7pm till 9am this morning. When I say open I mean wide open not just unlocked.

I feel so stupid but really lucky the car and everything is still inside, it was parked on my driveway not in the street but the car can easily be seen by anyone going by.

Ha ha, I'm blonde and from Essex, that's my excuse, don't know what's all yours is. LOL!

I also fall into the "I left the door open all day" camp...only to come home and discover my dog had gone wandering. A neighbour I didn't know let her back in. Oddly...the cats stayed in.
Then there was the time I left my bedroom window open...my deaf cat decided to try flying, and landed in the hedge below....oooops!

I once was out for the day and rummaged in my bag for my keys to drive home, couldn't find them, panicked, then saw my whole bunch of keys - for car, house and work - in the car door. I couldn't believe my stupidity or luck also, Silliemillie.

I've left my door open loads of times. My son has taken charge of door locker...

I've also done the car thing quite a few times. Walking home with shopping and thinking my cars been nicked and then realising it's in the supermarket car park.

I too like others have left my key in the front door, a kindly neighbour saw it and gave me a knock !

Years ago, we packed the car for a two week holiday in Cornwall....came home to find that 'someone' had not locked the front door (it wasn't a Yale lock either) Anyone could have just turned the handle outside and gone in!! Luckily all was ok but I sure panicked on finding out what we had done!
