Just thought I would ask here, but can anybody confirm where Amersham crown court is.
Can anyone confirm if it is in King George V road.
I am due to go there tomorrow for jury service, all the way from Milton Keynes. Just want to make sure I go to the right building.
Thank you.

The following is an Amersham courtroom exchange between a defence barrister and a farmer with a bodily injury claim.
Barrister: "At the scene of the accident, did you tell the constable you had never felt better in your life?"
Farmer: "That's right."
Barrister: "Well, then, how is it that you are now claiming you were seriously injured when my client's car hit your truck?"
Farmer: "When the constable arrived, he went over to my horse, who had a broken leg, and shot him. Then he went over to Rover, my dog, who was all banged up, and shot him. When he asked me how I felt, I just thought under the circumstances, it was a wise choice of words to say I've never felt better in my life."
Abarrister was cross-examining a police officer during a theft trial - it went like this:
Q. Officer, did you see my client fleeing the scene?
A. No sir, but I subsequently observed a person matching the description of the offender running several streets away.
Q. Officer, who provided this description?
A. The officer who responded to the scene.
Q. A fellow officer provided the description of this so-called offender. Do you trust your fellow officers?
A. Yes sir, with my life.
Q. With your life? Let me ask you this then officer - do you have a locker room in the police station - a room where you change your clothes in preparation for you daily duties?
A. Yes sir, we do.
Q. And do you have a locker in that room?
A. Yes sir, I do.
Q. And do you have a lock on your locker?
A. Yes sir.
Q. Now why is it, officer, if you trust your fellow officers with your life, that you find it necessary to lock your locker in a room you share with those same officers?
A. You see sir, we share the building with a court complex, and sometimes solicitors and barristers have been known to walk through that room.
