Very odd - just about working on iMac chrome (but nearly moribund), so slow on iMac firefox that it times out, not so bad on iMac Safari and nearly normal on the iPad ...

... I wondered if it was "the software that we don't talk about" interfering, but turning that on/off makes no difference.

That's interesting - tried connecting the iMac through my iPhone (rather than Virgin cable) and the problems disappeared - wonder if it's a DNS resolution problem somewhere between Virgin and AB's server.

Or it could be Cosmic Rays ...
