my space - what do i do now?

Hi there,

I have just made a myspace page - but what do i do now? I haven't a clue how it works. i realise i am supposed to add people, but how, whats the etiquette?

can someone give me a general run down of the point of myspace and how i can get something out of it?

hello - i'm quite liking myspace at the moment

though i spend an alarmingly large amount of time changing the colours of my backgrounds etc. i get the most out of the site listening to new music and checking out bands pages that i like. I have also looked into a couple of groups (find them by following the groups navigation link at the top) and settled on one local to my home town.

um what else - i'm not all that sure... if you post your page here i'm sure the other ABers on myspace (there are quite a few) will pop over there to say hello.

(Laughing) Joko, join the club! I was/am on 'myspace', added my profile and thought "Well, now what? I had three 'friends' come knocking: one a begging letter from a Nigerian 'student', the second from a band I've never heard of (and now won't) and the third a welcome from a lass in Michigan, USA who seems decent enough.

I guess you go out and put out a request to become a friend, just like people seek you out and request they become a friend of yours, by way of the photos.

Seems as if you've got to stick with it. Working on putting some interest in my site at the mo'. JJ
