Quite simply, for the purposes of a story I need to know if there is a proper and technical word for the low dividing wall between the roofs of two terraced houses. Thanks!

Do you mean in the loft space?

No, on top of the roof between each house in the terrace. It's not on all rows of terrace, so it's probably more decorative than structural, but on some terrace rows each roof is separated from the next by a low brick wall (about 12-18 inches high) topped with curved roof tiles.

That's what I need the name of :)

I think it's called a parrapet wall.
A parapet wall usually extends above the roof at the eaves but I think that name will work in this situation. You could elaborate further for descriptive purposes by calling it an extension of the party wall which is the wall that separates the two properties.
