my mum is allergic to cheese made with cow's milk, but not those made with sheep or goat's milk. Can anyone suggest cheeses that she can eat?

Hi Tiga, Feta cheese is made with ewes milk and goats milk... Tescos finest and Genuine Greek Feta. I have seen some made with cows milk so just check the label.

Fabulous crumbled up in a pasta salad with sundried tomatos....

There are lots of lovely goats cheeses out there... eat just as or make a risotto with thin slices of it and fresh basil and olive oil to drizzle over it.

Your mum should also be drinking goats milk and, if she like ice cream, Swedish Glace make a dairy free one thats delicious....

Enjoy all those cheeses!!!!

|f you can ever get hold of some cheese called 'merlin cheese' its made from goats milk in wales, very nice!! and lots of different flavours

halumi is a sweedish mountian goat chese, works well with meat or fish.

Manchego is a delicious Spanish sheep's milk cheese, traditionally eaten with membrillo, a sort of quince jelly - they go really well together.

Shepherd's purse cheeses from Yorkshire are all made with sheep's milk, except for their 'Yorkshire Blue', made with cow's milk.
