I know the Now TV box is cheap as chips but I really don't want another box under my tv, to save anyone the bother of telling me to buy a box :)

I can watch Now TV on my pc via their app. I can 'cast' from my pc to my smart tv, so if I am watching YouTube or a DVD on my pc I can see and hear it on my tv.

I know that not everything can be 'cast' to my tv - so my question is, if I subscribe to Now TV will I be able to cast the programmes from my pc to my tv?

If I know it can be done I will subscribe now as they have a very good deal on - three months for the price of one, but I am too tight to risk losing £7 if it won't work

Why not just sign up for the 14 day free trial for your computer, then you can check for yourself?

I thought of that, TheChair, but then I wouldn't be able to sign up for the 3 month for the price of 1 deal. It's either/or

I was hoping somebody had the same set up as me - Windows 10 pc and Panasonic smart tv - and has tried it.

I don't think it will work.

I have NowTV on my iPhone and iPad and works from their App on both devices. But they don't allow you to cast or mirror to your TV. I have an AppleTV box and NowTV have an App for that, which allows me to watch on my TV without the NowTV box.
It might work if you hard wire your PC to your TV via a long HDMI cable, assuming your PC has an HDMI output slot, but cannot guarantee that it would.
You could buy a Chromecast which is a stick that slots into the back of your TV without having a box. There is a NowTV App for that.

Arggghhh, the Chromecast needs a plug socket. The back of my tv is a snake pit of cables, sockets, extension leads and dust. I was hoping to avoid adding to that

Does your TV have any Smart capabilities?
What make/model is it? You may be able to download the NowTV App directly onto the TV.

It is a smart tv, Gromit - it's a Panasonic and sadly there is no Now app for it

Most Smart TVs run on the Android OS and NowTV can be side loaded. Unfortunately Panasonic is not Android based.

If your TV has a USB port, you can power the Chromecast from that.
