Yes, the judge decided that she didn`t suffer too much and the leader of the gang who wasn`t involved in the actual rape received a much longer jail sentence. Thank goodness times have changed.

I remember this case very well. She wasn't served very well by the Judge in the case, but it didn't stop her being effective afterwards.
