After the fiasco with the Tesco order I reordered from Asda. Delivery to be tonight between 7.00 and 9.00 pm. At 6.00pm tracking changed to delivery between 7.00 and 7.34 pm andmy driver was called Brian!
At 7.45 pm it changed back to 7.00 to 9.00 pm and no mention of Brian!
Now how long do I have to stay up for in case they deliver later.
What is going on with supermarkets on line orders and deliveries?

Even if you choose bagless all meat/veg/fruit comes in bags.
Ridiculous comment about the bags, fryup. Ocado delivers my shopping in bags and takes the previous bags away, refunding me 5p for each bag. The bags are then reused or recycled.

Just phoned again. They tell me it was delivered at 6.41 pm last night. No way.
We were in all day and night.
No way delivery set for 10-12 am tomorrow. As compensation they have given me free delivery for a month. No chance!
Fryup silly comment if I may say so.

I return all my bags for recycling and as ummm as pointed out, fresh veg comes bagged in little bags .
Caran, have they refunded you? Someone's got your shopping for free

It gets worse. I received an email confirming new delivery and. A new delivery charge of £4.50. My previous order had a £1 delivery charge. So I telephone again (thank heavens it's an 0800 number)
I haven't spoken to an English person yet! I asked about refunding the delivery charge. Not company policy she said. What about the free delivery pass I was given in compensation for all the cockups. I didn't meet the minimum spend to qualify for it.
I am getting quite angry now, I ask to be put through to manager.
Go through whole saga again. She tells me she cannot refund £4.50 delivery.
I told her I had initially been charged £1 and would be willing to still pay this although owing to it being their fault all charges should be refunded.
She agreed to not charge me the extra £3.50. I was going to cancel if I got no joy from her.
Well we will see what tomorrow brings.
Crikey you aren't having any good luck are you?

My deliveries rarely go wrong and if a new driver gets delayed or lost he (usually is a he) phones me.
I have found that Asda has gone downhill in the customer services department. I avoid using them if I can these days.

I agree with hc4361,
Being retired(although we do have a car) we often don't want to go to the shops(nearest supermarket,Sainsbury's is 12 miles)We have had several deliveries from Ocado, and always found them prompt and reliable.
Caran,I am really sorry for all your problems,It is obviously very frustrating,I do hope you get it sorted.
