... it's a really nice day here in N/Kent. Sun's shining, there's hardly any wind blowing and the Estuary is like a millpond.

Been out with the hounds since about 08:30 along the Seafront towards Whitstable they've come in and just flaked out, so couple of hours P and Q hopefully.

Where exactly was that photo taken, Balders?

It looks very much like the coastal path at Swalecliffe, just before the sewage station on the left, leading towards the skatepark and Tankerton cliffs.

If so, you might be one of the hundreds of dog walkers I've asked lots of silly questions to at that location!

Now I wonder why it is that Balders thinks that I know my way around by pubs? ;-)

I've never got as far up as Hampton, actually. I did one block of work at Swalecliffe where I was commuting from Suffolk (having to be at Swalecliffe by 0630, working through to 1900 and then having to drive home - horrid!) and then another when I was staying in a (superb) B&B in Whitstable for a couple of weeks, carrying out surveys at several locations in the area.
