Good News

friend got her two breasts off in March then she got one bout of chemo but she reacted very badly to that - doctors wouldn't give her any more but she did get a cuppla weeks of radiation.

She received a letter this morning saying "We are pleased to tell you you have no cancer in your body. Brilliant news YeeHa

Yeah it is I am so pleased for her. Now friend who has been dealing with cancer for 7 years and has been butchered - hysterectomy, piles removed 3 times, heart surgery - opened from neck to belly button. Lymph nodes removed from belly button to hip and so on Monday she is getting her breast off. I would loved it if she got good news too.

Friend who was to get her breast off on Monday - the hospital cancelled - the nurse in charge went bananas when she saw friend had had heart surgery and said no way hosay - there needs to be an intensive care bed ready for her.

Apparently friend's husband went crackers - this happened to them twice before so operation has been postponed I think until either 24 or 29 Jan. All that waiting must be so awful.

That's very distressing JJ, there's a huge call for more beds to be available.
