Gynecomastia

How would a male know if he's got gynecomastia, or if he's just a bit fat or something?
Since my teenage years(im now 50) Ive always been self conscious of my 'moobs'. Never been a problem with my partners, but women do tend to be a bit more 'accepting' than men of their partners.
However, now at 50 and no longer in my prime, Im fatter than I'd like to be, not as slim or muscular than Id like to be but still have the body that has haunted me for years. Im sure that I have tits... or if AB filters work , t !ts.
I gave up on doctors long ago
Im not even particularly embarressed about it anymore.
Would just like to know that it may be something that I could do something about

Just reread what I was posting on this thread last night and its all come out wrong. My reply to chris at 22:14 was not meant as a 'low blow' in any way, Buen has said himself on here that he is on the autism spectrum and that he doesnt particularly feel any empathy towards people, I was trying to say that I understand that but I feel that I do perhaps require some medical intervention as it stops me doing things like going swimming. Buen is one of (if not THE) most helpful contributors on here and My reply to him was not meant unkindly in any way.
My last part of my comment at 22:35 was meant for a you tube discussion under a vid I was watching at the same time as I was on here. I was getting confused, having several pages open at once.
Sorry for any offence I may have caused guys, I was very drunk last night and got a lot on my plate at the moment.
Thank you all for replies and once again, my apologies.
