I have just had a phone conversation with the relative that I'm going to visit. She lives in the Moorlands. I asked if she had spare slippers and enquired about the weather. She said she had spare slippers and, although they had had snow, they hadn't felt the need to have the heating on during the day............!

'Oh, it's just come on', she said as we were talking........ 4.00pm.

I am packing a hot water bottle.

I guess this is meant to be amusing.

However, I feel you need to grow up. Heating on during the day time? Why?

Just grow up and behave like an adult and respect the hospitality of your hosts.

No :) she's only 60 and he's a little older, a nice couple

I have several hats Patsy but an exercise DVD would be a bit in your face, I think.

they're not ready to kick the bucket for a while I hope, I kind of like them as my neighbours, he gets me my papers daily :) he's out walking at 7a.m. and picks up the papers and my magazines by 8a.m.
don't forget your shorts, the sun might come out

Nice neighbours then, Ducksie. That's good.

I'm looking at Waterville for properties.
Soooo....Ael's a leg man.........☺

Tilly...I have a skipping rope that counts your skips.......want that?..x
That's me told.

We've started leaving our heating on 24 hours but controlling it from the thermostat, it is never on in the morning now, that's 2.5 hours saved, as we don't get up early in winter and it used to be on whole we were still in bed. We tend to knock it up late pm as we're out and about before that or doing stuff around the house.

I shall grin and bear it. I'll have a lovely time with my lovely family. Going home for a birthday party.

I just hope we have no more snow
