Security Updates For Windows Xp
In my Control Panel, Add and Remove programmes, currently installed programmes and updates, i have several lines of Security Updates for Windows XP followed by a number similiar to (KB2481109). If i leave these updates coming in they will keep on increasing.
Is it safe to remove them, how to do it, and if so how can i stop them arriving in future into my Add and Remove section? Thanks.

As you suggest, i will just leave them there and hope no more ghosts from the past will appear!
Lol Porkchop... that little bit of info would have been helpful. I rebuilt my desktop back in the summer after a hard drive failure. I put in a 2tb ss hybrid and ran the w7 disc that I had when it was new. After install it came up with the message that there were 127 updates available. I whittled them down to what was crucial, and then forced through the w10 upgrade with 2 days to spare before it was no longer free. When I say rebuilt, I took every card and the Mother board out. Repaired the power supply(cooked resistors), and fans and washed the fan blades and loom. I replaced the blue LED lights that had failed and put a soldering iron on a few dry joints mainly on the graphics card that my son had over clocked(gaming) causing it to get red hot. It is now a thing of beauty. :))
