Stomach Ache

After yesterday's major sicky session I've got really bad tummy pain.

Is there anything I can take to relieve it. Maybe just one paracetamol? I can't take much more of the pain.

I wouldn't turn to paracetamol for tummy pain, have you anything like mint tea or similar?


Hot water bottle may help too.

Sadly not no Mamya I don't like any type of tea.

I could try a hot water bottle. I have considered a warm bath too. I've got a suspected hernia too which is also twingeing from time to time.

Ah,I assumed the pain may be from the tummy bug if it is from the site of the suspected hernia maybe try some paracetamol then and see if you get relief.

Wot, surely won't need force feeding lol. Just have a nibble on a burnt slice of toast.

My stomach is sore from being sick Mamya...the suspected hernia is letting me know that it's still there. I do have some mints but something says they won't help
I hate burnt toast Tony...I'm not all that fond of toast either lol that's why you'd need to force me to eat it.

Hi QoM, have you got any liquid Gaviscon? Or something similar. I expect you have inflammation after being sick.

I don't patsy no... I think it's my Liver that's sore, I do have my omeprazole would they do?

I'm currently in the bath which seems to be helping a little and the milk has helped a smidgen too

I wouldn't have milk or milk products if you have or have had a sickly stomach. As Mamy has suggested if pain is from hernia then paracetamol may help but not if sore from sickness.

Leave the pills unless you've had them already of course.

I have two pains FPC...this pain is coming more from my liver and the other from the hernia.

I've already had some milk (Sorry) and a warm bath which seems to have helped a little. I won't take tablets unless I need to. If it keeps me up I'll consider it as I will need sleep too. But I hope it subsides soon. This is why I hate being sick
