Sime Boiler Timer Problem!?!

hey all
i'm trying to set my sime boiler to come on in the morning, the clock works fine and is set to the proper time and iv pulled the teeth for the time i want it to come on but the problem is when i click the little button to set to timer mode (middle) the boiler just comes on permently so i have to turn it back of for as i don't want it on then lol, i do not have a room thermostat
anyone know where i'm going wrong??

Unfamiliar with different types of boiler, but mine has four options: off, once, twice, and on. Are you setting yours to on rather than once or twice, both of which use the timer/clock ?

i have 3 options, off, permently on and timer but setting to timer just turns in permently on...

Ok. Do you have the teeth in when they should be out, and vice versa ?

yes that's all set at the correct times etc but i can't work out why setting it to timer makes the boiler kick in even though the timer is set to morning

Run out of ideas. It may simply be broken. Did you get a check/service for it, ready for winter ?

If you are switching it to timer mode when the boiler should be "off", try switching it to timer mode when the boiler should be "on", or vice versa. That way it just MIGHT go off when the timer tells it to do. I'm not optimistic it will work but we seem to be in the realms of desperate measures.
Failing that it might be as OG said, just broken.
