Took Mrs B to Doctors @ 09:30, she's been a bit under the weather for a couple of days, Was in with Doctor for ½hr or so and was then referred to A & E in Margate for tests.
Took her there, in for tests reasonably quickly, now a Specialist will see her this afternoon.
I've just come home to sort the dogs out. One of two things will happen now, they will send her home in which case she can come home with Tash' who is working there. If they keep her in, I have got a 'packing list' that would fill a Pickfords Van, let alone a suitcase, to take in this evening.
Just had a call from the Ward, did not have a good night, off for an X-Ray early hours, delay visit to about 1400.
Yeah right, I shall be lurking long before then!
Got in at 1200, she did have a bad night, Temp. up, Stats down (I think) all back to something like normal now, sounds a lot better than she did yesterday, but still not that good. Sounds like they're keeping her 'til early next week atm.
Both went down to visit Mrs B today, Tash' dropped me off about 1230 then went on to do the Waitrose Pilgrimage, about 5 mls away, joined us about 1400. Mrs B sounds much better, more robust/confidant, and SOH is def. returning. Most likely home on Tuesday if all OK.
Good News.
Thanks Patsy, she's usually quite a robust person, which is why this came as a surprise to say the least. Seems to be a genuine improvement today, so fingers crossed.
Brought Mrs B home tonight about 20:00 along with a long list of does and don'ts. A way to go yet but they think she will respond better at home, certainly looking and sounding better imo.
That's wonderful news, Balders......Please send her my sincere wishes for a speedy recovery ......so much nicer being in your own home. So happy for you both. :-) xx
