What on earth is this?
Have a look here:
This thing spends its life on the wall of my parents in law's house in a ski resort in the Pyrenees.
I can't work out what it's for. It might be something to do with wool? I think it must have had some purpose - I don't think the mountain spanish have quite got the American marketing style of "let's make something up, artificially age it and sell it to people".
Anyone got any ideas?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Very strange. I don't know what it is, but the hole in the wood suggets to me that you may put that end of the board on the ground and put your foot through the hole, then lay the board back on your legs/body to use it.
Two ideas I have are that it may be either for teasing matted wool to get leaves and dirt etc out of it before it is spun, or for stripping to leaves off of flexible young branches to use them for fencing or wicker work.
