You need a video capture card (board) in your PC and the appropriate software - have a look at www.pinnaclesys.de/uk/dhome.asp?type_id=4
you need a: tv pc vcr cd
Hi emcol, You do indeed need a capture card. There's a lot on the market atm. But I can tell you that I've had success with the ATI All-In-Wonder AGP 128 with 32M ram. Software; Videowave is a good start for novices and intermediate. I would suggest trying to capture in mpeg-1 for standard cd-r's. iFilmEdit is great for editing mpeg-1 files. They've got a trial version on their web site but it has a 5 min. time limit so try & get a registered version. WinOnCD & Nero both support the creation of Video-CD's which can then be played on a standard DVD player or in your PC. DON'T use Easy CD creator as there have been reports of bugs with vcd burning. VCD PC Player; try PowerVCD. quite cheap if you can get it. web sites: www.ati.com www.ulead.com www.cinax.com/Products/ifilmedit.html www.cequadrat.com www.ahead.de www.gocyberlink.com/english/download/trial/vpp.asp Hope this helps some. TTFN, SamR
