Kill Or Cure?

I've had the dreaded lurgy for nearly two weeks :-( Tonight for tea, I've had a chicken jalfreizi, with added chilli. A chopped raw onion and garlic. I'm going to finish it off with a very large whisky, then straight to bed.... I don't think the Mrs will be bothering me;-)

Put the whisky in a large glass with fresh orange juice and half a spoonful of cinnamon.

So do I. I'm at the tail end. I never drink whisky but found it really helped, especially with lemon, sugar and hot water.

I feel ok for about an hour, then it suddenly starts up again...coughing, snotty nose and the sweats.

I swear by chewing half a clove of garlic daily. It certainly keeps the germs away. Also, after a couple of months, the odour cannot be detected on your breath.

I'm the same, had it just before Christmas, then it re-appeared with a vengeance last night.

I've spent the day snotting and sneezing everywhere, and I feel very sorry for myself.

I personally blame the customers at work, they're all diseased vermin.

Well . Felt rubbish over the weekend and took Monday off work. Tuesday and Wednesday I was fine. Felt rubbish this morning and spewed up:-( When will this bug go away?
